my day started late. i remember how we used to leave home at 8 or 9 when i was younger. recently tho, the visitng hours for cny got later. today we reached the paternal grandmother's house at around 11. and there was still nobody D: and nobody came for the whole 1.5 hours that we spent there. lunch was good- gugu cooked very yummy soup that tasted so much like the one i used to drink all the time when i was in kindergarten. #childhood memories hehe.

then we left for the maternal grandmother's house. we were very late. everyone was already there when we finally arrived at one thirty. and my cousins' kids are so so cute!

say hello to ynez (: for the entire afternoon, she tottered around the house hugging legs and saying "hello" in a very adorable and nasal australian accent, haha. best part is she remembers me, even tho the last time i saw her was last cny. told her momma she wanted to come to huimin yee yee's place to swim, aww <3 but new place no swimming pool D:

ynez and elia (: the matching cheongsams are too precious already. they actually stood at that wall for around 5 minutes as all the relatives rushed to snap photos heh. i can't believe they're 3 or 4 years old already. just yesterday we were celebrating their first month with the ridiculously expensive $400 cake, no? D:
after that, the entourage adjourned to my house to gamble. this year.. is not my mother's year. we played ban luck, she was the banker, and in less than 2 hours, she lost at least $300. hah. i told her to take comfort in the fact that 1/3 of that went to my sister and i, so she should write it off as allowance for her children (:
my poor baby nephew fell while running around the house. and... the bump on his forehead appeared within 20secs. it was so scary, the rate at which it grew. and i thought stuff like that only happened in movies.
it's 10:03pm now. mother's at gugu's place for mahjong, probably trying to win some money after the huge loss from this afternoon haha. and daddy and i are going to anchorvale cc for some twister fries (:
